President Jokowi's Speech in APEC 2014
According to President Jokowi's speech in APEC in Beijing, I agree that fuel subsidy should be revoked because it is ineffective. I also agree that we better channel the fuel subsidy to build sea tolls, seaports, railway network and other public facilities. (Wafa)
I agree with President Jokowi's speech because we'd spent a lot of our national budget to subsidy the fuel. It wasn't very effective. In 2015, we planned allocating $27 billion to subsidy the fuel. It's mis-targeting because more than 50% subsidy consumed by high-class society. (Fa'i)
I emphasize once more that president Jokowi’s idea in
omitting the fuel subsidy is great. He wants to chanel our subsidy for being allocated in
more effective matters. He'll chanel our fuel subsidy to: Education, build
sea-toll & seaports, build railway network, mass-transportation, power-plant, etc.(Bayu)
